In exciting news for area residents, board-certified internist Nelly Chambers, M.D., has opened her own private medical practice right next door to Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel. The new practice, called Primary Care of Wesley Chapel, is accepting adult patients from across the north Tampa Bay Metro area who seek quality primary care and treatment for acute and chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Chambers is an established physician with top-notch educational credentials and more than 12 years of experience in private practice. Her unique philosophy of care focuses on treating every patient like family, with an emphasis on individualized treatment plans, whole-patient wellness, and “compassion with a dose of humor.”

Dr. Chambers’ multilingual skills allow her to converse with patients in English, French, Arabic and Spanish, and her special interests include preventive medicine, women’s health, mental health, diabetes and obesity care, as well as the treatment of acute and chronic diseases.

A graduate of Yale University and the Cornell University School of Medicine who completed both her Residency and Internship at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, she has since won multiple Patient Choice and Compassionate Doctor Recognition awards.

Dr. Chambers’ practice is located on the campus of Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel, at 2700 Healing Way, Suite 112 in Wesley Chapel, Fla.  New patients can contact her office for an appointment at 813.929.5330.
